The Big Cake Show is an initiative of Walkfront African Network Entertainment Agency, an entertainment outfit with content development that promotes creativity across various age groups at different times

The Big Cake Show will run on WAPTV and air on DStv, Gotv, Startimes, Mytv, Starsat, and others for a period of 3 months

That's a total of 13 episodes

The show is based on professional cake artists going "head-to-head" to construct over four feet tall cakes - with the assistance of a team of chefs, designers, etc for a cash prize


Here is how to Participate.

1. The big cake show entry is free and open to anyone in the cake and pastries business

2. Do a 3 minutes video to show the cake you designed and baked, talk about your brand and your participation in the competition. Campaign for votes both on the website and on Instagram

2b. Your cake should tell a story at a glance. It shouldn't be less than 8 inches or more than 12 inches

3. Upload your video here, fill out the necessary information and submit it for the competition. A link will be sent to you for voting. Share the link with friends, fans, and family members to vote for you.

4. Each vote cost 100

5. Top 4 cake designers with the lowest votes from the bottom will be eliminated from the competition every Saturday midday.

Voting resumes Saturday 12:00 midnight

Note: The voting and elimination stage will be for 3 weekends while on the fourth weekend, the top 3 cake designers with the highest votes will be selected as qualified finalists for the big cake show live Competition stage two.

7. Top 3 with the highest votes will be invited to the finals.

8. Everything for baking will be provided by the organizers, including a live broadcast.

9. During the final competition, three selected judges will be live at the venue to judge on taste, timing, creativity, organization of the team, use of tools and materials provided. The baking time will last for 9 hours live

10. In the end, the winner of the competition will emerge. Consideration for judging will be based on Voting and live show Performance.

11. Voting for the top three ends midnight to the final competition.

12. The winner will get a N500,000 ( half a million naira) cash prize and other gifts.

13. At the end of the competition, the cake is gifted to any of the couples with the highest votes having their wedding that period.

14. Couples must be following the competition and must take part in the voting exercise. The Couple with the highest votes by midnight of the final live show will be declared winner.



Note: In the instance where the grand finale is outside the location of our finalist, their logistics will be taken care of by the organizers. This includes transportation, hotel reservations, and feeding of the crew for the competition for the period of stay for the competition
